Top ten things to be thankful for

1.God
2.Family
3.Friends
4.Home
5.Car
6.School
7.Freedom
8.Job
9.Peace
10.Money

My most important and favorite thing I am thankful for is God. Without God nothing is possible. He is the creator of the heavens and earth. God is my savior and the most important person in my life.

Also, another important thing that I am thankful for is money. With money, you can buy food, clothes, shelter and ect. Many people around the world dont have enough money to buy these things, they barely have enough to live. I am so thankful for having the life I do and being blessed with many things.

Everyone is thankful for something. What are you thankful for? To me, the 10 most important things I'm thankful for are; God, family, friends, home, car, school, freedom, job, peace, and money.

Speak book review

Are you the type of person who if you have a problem you keep your mouth shut? Or are you the type to tell someone so they could help you over come it? In Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, Melinda is a young high school girl dealing with something way over her head and doensnt tell anyone about it.

Melinda, to me, is the type of person to fix her problems on her own. She doesnt need anyone to do things for her because she is so used to doing them by herself.

The first day of school for Melinda was terrible. She said "I am an outcast." While walking through the halls she see's all of the teens glare and laugh at her. Melinda finds her hideaway spot in the janitors closet. She hides from her old friends, teachers, and especially IT, Andy Evan, the boy who made her mouth, body, and mind scarred.

Towards the end of the book, Melinda transforms in many ways. She finally speaks up and actually talks to other students.

I would most definatly recamend this book to all teens who attend, or have attended high school. The moral of this story is very touching and made me think about the people who dont say much to anyone and if something happend to them like it did Melinda.

Bullying

Bullying is a huge part of our society and needs to be changed. Have you ever been the person who got made fun of all of the time and was beat up and for not giving the bully your lunch money?

There are many kids that attend Batesville High that are bullied. I believe violence is not the answer and kids should handle these problems in another way other than beating them.

When kids move to a new school, chances of them being bullied is very likely. Most of the time, the bullys are the one's who have had a rough life and were also once beat. Bully's are the jealous one's and usually dont get enough attention.
